CARNIVAL IN RIO, BUT A VERY PROMISING LOGISTIC TRADE FAIR
IN SAO PAULO !
(INTERMODAL 13-17 APRIL 2009)
In
2009 the French economy is promoted in Brazil, as the opposite has been done in
2008. As a result, the French
trade mission at the embassy gathered some french
innovative and pro sustainable development companies involved
in the logistic
market to promote their know how and products during Intermodal 09: Batterie
plus was one of the
twelve selected companies.
Sao Paulo is one of the 26 states of Brazil but represents by itself more than
45 % of the GDP. The logistic activity
is tremendous, major international
companies are developing their business there and despite the world crisis the
nation growth is keeping a pace of 2 to 5 %.
The traction
battery global park is amazing and no solution has been brought so far in terms
of waste and battery
recycling management. Batteries plus process raised the
deep interest of 15 local companies.
Two of them are coming
to our head quarter in Avignon in May and more are coming later on. We are
facing a
promising market meeting new maintenance, cost and environment
requirements in the country. We believe that
pretty soon a distributor and a
few regeneration centres shall be implemented in Sao Paulo.
Thanks

batterie plus introduction to the
brasilian market a positive first step in.
